Heather is one of our super talented saxophonists. She is a virtuoso musician with a talent for getting the party started. Whether she’s celebrating HRH’s birthday in Moscow, cavorting with jazz legends in Harlem, providing a soundtrack with the strawberries at Wimbledon, or getting stuck in as a session musician, Heather loves to play – and it very much shows.
She brings an irrepressible sense of playful magic that sets her live performances apart, gets feet tapping and the dance floor full. Striking, stunning, and highly respected, Heather’s unique combination of fun, technical brilliance and reading the room means you can relax, safe in the knowledge your party, corporate event, wedding or celebration will pop.
As well as performing with High on Heels and with some of London’s best DJ’s Heather plays a plethora of genres, from Jazz, pop classics and contemporary covers to originals and compositions.
Heather regularly also performs as a solo artist and band leader, playing at venues including Ronnie Scott’s, the Globe Theatre, Kensington Palace, the South Bank Centre and the Royal Opera House. She’s has tripped the light fantastic at an enviable list of international locations such as Sydney Harbour for Richard Branson, the global Grand Prix circuit and a European Tour with the Guillemots, to name a few. But what does it all mean to her?
Music is a powerful force and it can unite, ignite, inspire and comfort. It defies language, bridges cultural and emotional divides, reconnects us with our journey, our history and heritage.
As a performer Heather wants to move you to dance and smile. Whether she‘s jamming on a rammed dance floor with a dj or serenading a jazz club with a husky, smoky ballad, the sax is her voice and she brings a whole lot of sparkle to the party.
